SCHURTER presents the first 10A and 16A In-/Outlets made of plant-based plastic worldwide! The new Green Line family includes the types 6100-3, 6100-4, 6102-3, 6102-5, 6600-3, 6600-4, 4782, 4797, 4798 and 6080.
Sustainability is today a global need. It is not a mandate that SCHURTER has to give to its group companies, but an expectation to actively address the issue.
For our Sustainability Report, we have oriented ourselves on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The 17 SDGs encompass 169 sub-goals for topics including the protection of the natural world to alleviating poverty.
In dialogue with internal and external stakeholders and in alignment with industry associations and expert opinions, we have identified essential topics and SDGs along our value creation chain. On this basis, the Sustainable Steering Committee has combined the topics into four dimensions which we will report annually. We defined concrete targets for the most relevant topics. Assessing our impact on the topic as well as the relevance for our stakeholders was key here.
SCHURTER started integrating environmental protection principles as early as 1990 and was one of the first ISO 14001 certified companies in Switzerland in 1996.
