SCHURTER Inc proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to the talented team of engineers at the University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project (UMNSVP) for their remarkable achievement earning 2nd place in the Cruiser Class at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge held last October.
The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge stands as a testament to innovation, pushing the boundaries of solar-powered vehicles. The UMNSVP's exceptional performance underscores their dedication, ingenuity, and commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.
Of the SCHURTER parts utilized in the solar vehicle project, the FPG4 vertical fuseholder proved to be a favorite amongst the student engineers. The shock-safe fuseholders served as back up in case of a pc board failure. The compact design of the fuseholder was particularly valuable on circuit boards that require a small footprint, such as this solar vehicle.
SCHURTER Inc is dedicated to supporting student design engineers like those involved in the University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project. We take pride in collaborating with these teams, recognizing their talent and commitment to solving real-world challenges that promote sustainability.
